Enzo Iezzi

I’m a freelance designer specialising in music, culture and creative direction. I work across digital and physical formats, combining photography, print, found materials and handmade processes.

Daine

Design + Creative Direction

For Daine’s debut album In Endless Awe & Agony, I worked across the creative direction for the release, including vinyl and CD packaging, merch, tour artwork and digital assets.

The direction grew from Daine’s own drawings, symbols and imagery. Rather than creating something separate from their existing world, I built on it through recurring elements like baby animals, stars, pastel colours and handmade details.

For the first world tour, I developed a system that could work across the European and American legs. The layouts remained consistent while the colours and flag references changed between locations.

The project later developed into the artwork for Daine’s EP. I created a spiritual compass using different animals and symbols, layered over a photograph by Hop Nguyen taken in New York.

Nerve

Design + Branding + Creative Direction

I worked with Nerve for around two years, creating the graphic design for their weekly club nights and developing the visual direction of the club.

The original identity was based around techno grids and pixelated type. As the club grew, we wanted something more recognisable and less like a typical techno night.

I developed a more fluid identity around an N icon, alongside a new typeface and oscilloscope-inspired imagery.

With a new event almost every week, the work had to be produced quickly while still feeling connected. The identity was used across flyers, animation, social media and merchandise.

Convenience
Store

Design + Creative Direction

For Convenience Store’s debut album Tabis, I created the cover artwork using cyanotype printed onto cotton.

I wanted the artwork to feel soft and physical, so the image was made by hand rather than digitally. The direction was carried through into posters, merchandise and digital assets.

I also filmed the video below at one of the band’s shows, using a cyanotype-inspired colour palette in the lighting to connect the live footage back to the artwork.

Ned.

Design + Creative Direction + Photography + Film

I’ve worked with Ned. across music, photography, video and branding.

For Breathe, I wrote the text for the AI voice, edited the video and created the title screens. I then ran the footage through an old CRT television to create analogue distortion.

For Your Favourite Colour, I experimented with Polaroid film and chemical manipulation to photograph Ned. and his friends. I continued the Polaroid approach for WTF., using a photograph I took in Japan the day before the single was released.

For U Don’t Know Me, the video was shot and edited in one night. I also created the logo, which has since been used across Ned.’s social media and cover artwork.

I also photographed and edited a series of cover images for Ned. in a home studio, with styling by Billie Diamond.

Various Clients

Design + Branding

A collection of smaller projects across music, hospitality, events, branding and merchandise.

For Panique’s Dance music video, I created the title sequence by forming the letters out of glue, photographing them in different arrangements and animating the images.

Other work includes cover artwork for Glokk40spaz, Nigo Chanel and Drayahh, merchandise for UK brand Delinquent, and promotional artwork for Caucasian Opportunities.

For Carlton Wine Room, I created print and digital artwork for a Jura wine event, using the wine bottle and region as the starting point for the design.

I created a logo for ErikaEver, the new alias of Chaotic Good, alongside cover artwork and a frame-by-frame animation for Australian rapper Allday.

While interning at Untitled, I created a flyer for Xe54, working within their existing identity while experimenting with colour and composition.

For Urchin Agency, I designed a series of stickers featuring artists performing at an event. Each sticker was designed to work individually and was later used in press photography.

For Intrinsik, a Melbourne label and events company, I created the logo and launch post.

Interface

Design

While travelling in Japan, I made this poster for Moopie at Interface.

I had a lot of freedom with the design, so I brought visual references I picked up while travelling into the poster. The references from interface included the work of Bradley Pinkerton, one of my lecturers at university.

The design needed to feel playful and experimental while standing out in the street.

Triple X

Design + Branding + Creative Direction

Triple X is a proposed techno venue in Kaurna.

The starting point was creating a logo and identity connected to the music and atmosphere of the club. The shape of the logo became the basis for the wider identity.

I used photographs of petri dishes to build the imagery and colour palette, with colours taken directly from the photographs.

I also created brand guidelines and a presentation showing how the identity could work across merchandise, stationery and other applications.

Coloursound

Promotional Video

For Coloursound, I filmed and edited a promotional video for an alias being launched by Will Landman.

I ran the footage through an old CRT television to create distortion and an analogue feel, then edited it into the final piece.

Stamina

Design + Branding + Creative Direction

Stamina opened on the 13th of September in one of the tunnels under Flinders Street train lines.

I was brought on to create the logo and brand direction for the club, as well as the creative direction for graphics used across social media and flyers. I also managed a 3D artist, directing the graphics and how they worked within the identity.

I designed the logo around the hard and fast nature of the techno, taking inspiration from the tunnel and the venue itself.
